Garn Mawr (Garn Isaf Guesthouse rented out as a Large Self Catering Cottage)
“My 3 sisters and I stayed with our families for a week in July and booked the bed and breakfast as a self catering (and 2 camping pitches) for 17 of us. Our party consisted of 10 children ranging from 8 to 15 and 7 adults. WE all had a fantastic time, accommodation worked brilliantly and we loved the industrial kitchen in which we made some amazing meals and also cooked on the fire pit, sitting out late at night drinking wine and reflecting on our days spent on the beaches boogie boarding, reading books, playing games on the beaches and a great walks with the dog. The men in our party were keen cyclists and they found some great routes and the teenagers loved the beaches and large waves, plus they could still access face book in the evenings! We even managed to find a takeaway to deliver! The accommodation was 5 star, Anne was a great host and we all had a memorable holiday. Best described as south wales best kept secret, we all loved it!… great for a family get together!!” – Tracey (July 2012)
Garn Mawr and Y Garn Booked out together as Self Catering Cottages
“Annie, What a fantastic New Year spent at this idyllic place. The welcome we received was wonderful and the little touches made all the difference…we had a great time and possibly the best ever ‘New Years Eve Party’ ever. Thank you for all your help along the way (the many emails) and we look forward to staying again. In fact, we are already planning our next visit! From us all, a big thanks and see you again soon.” – Debra (January 2012)
Y Garn (5 star Self Catering Cottage / Farmhouse)
“We stayed at Garn Isaf for a week in Summer 2012. The cottage is beautiful and cosy. There were two adults, two teenage boys, our 12 year old daughter and one dog in our group and the house just swallowed us up. Lovely open plan down stairs but still with a warm lounge with fire for the evenings. Beds are all very comfortable and the gallery bed was a treat for a 12 year old wanting to get away from big brothers after a day in the sea. Dogs are actually welcomed in this part of the world unlike Cornwall. Walking is great and there are great walks right from Garn Isaf…Anne is a lovely person with great personality with a gift for hospitality and her two collies are great too. All in all a great place to stay.” – Bruce Forshaw (August 2011, from trip advisor review)
“This is our 3rd stay at Y Garn cottage and once again, we weren’t disappointed. The location is fantastic for us, our kids and 2 newfoundland dogs with plenty of coastal walks and dog friendly beaches in the area. The cottage is extremely comfortable and spacious with a great enclosed garden. We really appreciated the extra touches on arrival such as the bottle of wine and chocolate cake left by Anne the owner. The children particularly loved the huge ‘star’ bed under the skylight window and couldn’t wait to go to sleep each night! Y Garn is by far the best self – catering accommodation that we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be back again. Thanks for a great week!!” – Judy (August 2012, review taken from trip advisor)
“Dear Anne, Thank you so much for another wonderful holiday (our second staying in Y Garn). We love Pembrokeshire and this place is a wonderful base to explore the coastline. Thank you so much for your lovely hospitality and making us all (including the dogs Nala and Jake) feel so welcome… Looking forward to coming back again soon.” Sally and Alan (May 2011)

”This is our last day here and we’re very sad to go. The cottage is beautiful, so easy to live in and very well equipped. We have had fairly mixed weather but it hasn’t stopped us from doing anything. We have had a truly memorable holiday. This is our first visit to Wales, but it won’t be our last, hope to come again. Thank you so much for everything.” – Jo, Sean, Aimee, George, Roy and Mags (June 2008)

Garn Gwely Camp site
“Stayed a few weeks ago, still in awe at how lovely the north pembs coast is. The camp site was tranquil, well equipped, spacious, unfussy, well considered, rustic, friendly, sunny, windy, cloud, rainy and beautiful. Buying locally caught fresh cooked lobster and dressed crab… set the scene for us: perfect…. Seeing seals feed their pups off the Pembrokeshire coastal path, then cooking over the fire pits every night! Thank you, we will be back soon, good value for money too.” – Jeremy (August 2012 taken from review on trip advisor)
“This is our third visit to stay at this lovely campsite. We love the space that we have and the fire pit for marshmallows is a joy. We have had a peaceful week again. Thanks for everything. We’ll see you next year.” Kym and Kevin Gorvett (2011)
